Security concern over Syrian refugees should not be ignored

Over the last few years, Syrian refugees have been fleeing from their country due to a civil war. To date, over 4 million people have fled the country in hopes to avoid the bloodshed. Since the beginning of this year, hundreds of thousands of refugees have flooded in Europe, resulting in a mass migration that has become more than their hosts can handle. That’s where we come in.

The United States has already taken in over 2000 refugees. They are here, with 44 of them being here in North Carolina. Since the attack on France, there has been a greatly publicized debate over taking in refugees from Syria. The debate spawned from the discovery of a Syrian passport on one of the attackers from Friday night. The theory is that ISIS has uses this mass migration as a way to infiltrate other countries. This theory has lead to multiple state Governors stating that they will not allow any Syrian refugees due to security concerns. To handle this, the White House (not the President) spoke to multiple Governors to try to quash the problem.

Reactions from the people

There have been mixed reactions from the general public. Many people believe there is a legitimate cause for concern. Others completely ignore this possibility and think it’s better to blindly open up to those in need.

I recently read an article on The Guardian that explained why IS wouldn’t infiltrate the refugees.

“The reality is, [Isis] loathes that individuals are fleeing Syria for Europe. It undermines [Isis’s] message that its self-styled caliphate is a refuge.” It’s therefore unlikely that the vast majority of Syrians fleeing to Europe are Isis supporters, since their actions are in obvious contravention of the group’s creed.

Based on this, ISIS wouldn’t mix in with the refugees to infiltrate other countries because they don’t like those guys. This has to be one of the stupidest things I’ve read in quite a while. The wouldn’t use this as a gateway to attack their enemies because they dislike the refugees? The level of dumb this reaches is beyond our atmosphere.

The second reason for caution is more specific. Investigators still need to verify the Syrian passport was carried by an attacker rather than a dead bystander (one Egyptian passport-holder initially believed to be an assailant turned out to be an injured victim). They will then need to be certain that the passport’s carrier was the same as the passport’s legitimate owner.

Yes, they do need to figure that out. In the meantime, we need to lean on the side of caution and expect that it was carried by one of the attackers. You don’t expect the best and ignore the worst, you expect the worst and hope for the best.

A third red flag is the fact that the passport concerned was found in the first place. Analysts find it strange that a bomber would remember to bring his passport on a mission, particularly one who does not intend to return alive. “Why would a jihadist who expressly rejects all notions of modern citizenship take his passport on a suicide mission?” tweeted Charlie Winter, an analyst focusing on Islamist extremism. “So it gets found.”

That’s the only thing they’ve said that makes any sense. The fact that it was found is odd. However, the fact that it was found is also a red flag in that it illustrates how easily they could be moving through the refugee path.

Many people are completely ignoring reality

Helping people who have fled Syria is fine. I have no problem with that. What I do have a problem with is how our government, and many people out in the world, want to pretend like terrorist assholes wouldn’t try to get into your country by posing as a refugee.

Our government officials are ignoring the threat posed by allowing Syrian refugees into the country

Our government is ignoring the security concern, instead opting to appear generous and sympathetic to the world.

There have been hundreds of thousands of refugees flooding out of the country just this year alone. Keeping track of and fully background checking them all is impossible. In the fairy tale land some of you want to live in, we would be able to spot these assholes, but this is reality. They blend in on purpose. That’s how they are able to do what they do.

For some reason, many of our elected officials care more about looking good in front of others than they do about the people of our country. President Obama plans to veto a bill “that would suspend the program allowing Syrian and Iraqi refugees into the U.S. until key national security agencies certify they don’t pose a security risk.”

“The certification requirement at the core of H.R. 4038 is untenable and would provide no meaningful additional security for the American people, instead serving only to create significant delays and obstacles in the fulfillment of a vital program that satisfies both humanitarian and national security objectives,” the White House said in a statement.

The statement continued: “Given the lives at stake and the critical importance to our partners in the Middle East and Europe of American leadership in addressing the Syrian refugee crisis, if the President were presented with H.R. 4038, he would veto the bill.”

Why in the hell would he want to veto this? According to CNN, this bill would suspend allowing Syrian and Iraqi refugees into the United States until national security agencies can certify that they don’t pose a security risk. Why is that a bad thing? Do you just let anyone come work for the secret service? No! You background check them as harshly as you can in order to make sure they don’t pose a risk. This should absolutely be done for anyone you’re allowing in from countries which are infected with terrorist pieces of shit.

Lives are at stake, but our government has their heads so far up their asses that they are ignoring the lives of the American people. They want to limit the certification requirements of those allowed into this country so they can appear to be kind and welcoming. Appearances don’t matter when lives are being threatened. How do they not understand that?

Look, the facts are very simple and can not be argued against:

Governor Pat McCrory is one of 30+ governors who have opposed Syrian refugees

Governor Pat McCrory is one of 30+ governors who have opposed Syrian refugees

  • ISIS wants to kill Americans, Europeans, and anyone else who opposes them.
  • They will infiltrate your country in any way they can just to carry out their mission.
  • They do not care if they die and will happily do so if it means killing you. They have proven this many times.
  • You can not pretend that this wouldn’t happen, because Paris clearly proves that it can and will.

President Obama is ignoring the threat

“Apparently they are scared of widows and orphans coming into the United States of America,” Obama said of Republicans. “At first, they were too scared of the press being too tough on them in the debates. Now they are scared of three year old orphans. That doesn’t seem so tough to me.”

http://thehill.com/homenews/administration/260542-obama-gop-refugee-opponents-scared-of-widows-and-orphans

It really doesn’t matter that many of the refugees are widows and orphans. Widows and orphans can kill you with explosives just as anyone else can. Obama, if you aren’t going to say something that makes sense, shut the fuck up. Stop trying to shit talk because you clearly suck at it. And stop trying to make things political. That’s to everyone involved! This is not a political issue, you assholes. Real people can really die.

“I cannot think of a more potent recruitment tool for ISIL than some of the rhetoric coming out of here in the course of this debate,” Obama said, using his preferred acronym for the group.”

There is no debate. If you’re debating, you’re not doing your job. Stop making everything a political stage to try to wave your dicks at each other on. The people who elected you are being threatened and your response is to try to get votes and appear great to the world stage. Fuck the world, pay attention to us!

How to deal with the Syrian refugees

Dealing with this issue is not as difficult as it seems. It’s simple. Setup a very large camp and put all of the refugees there. Have it guarded and maintained by the National Guard.

Our politicians wouldn’t do this. They would view a camp as a negative, likely trying to link it to Hitler or some other stupid bullshit. What I’m talking about is setting up a large camp for the refugees to live in. This way we know where they are and can prevent anyone with malicious intentions from getting out and doing damage.

This is the only way this would make sense. You can not invite unknowns into your house when someone wants to kill you, smiling while they cut off your head or blow you and your children up. It’s terrible to think about, but you need to think about it. You need to be scared. Being scared keeps you aware of just how dangerous things really are. And things are very dangerous.

Threats are real and bad things will happen

The truth is that they will come here. They will use the refugee migration because they know that a lot of Americans have their heads buried in the sand, hiding behind a smile and good intentions because they would rather pretend that bad things like that wouldn’t happen.

They will come here and bad things will happen. Our elected officials will be to blame. They will use the events to appear sympathetic and pass the blame. They are to blame for not protecting the people of this country. This will happen because they clearly want it to. If they didn’t, they would pull their heads out of their asses and do something about it.

And Canada, you’re pretty easy to get into so you might want to pay attention to what happens here.
